At the start of my music photography career, I was shooting house shows in Bellingham, WA. Adrenaline filled sweaty bodies move amongst the space as bands play their hearts out in living rooms. I was fascinated by these DIY spaces and the energy they held. The intimate yet chaotic nature kept people coming. It kept me coming. It was comforting. I was captivated. Being at the height of my craving to create, I couldn’t help but wonder how to encapsulate these experiences into images. Below are photos captured from 2021-now. This is where it all started.
